The SHMA announces the launch of the SHMA Forum.  The forum allows both members and non-members a place online where they can interact with one another.  We encourage all people to make use of this new resource and build an online community where we can exchange ideas and thoughts and become more closer knit.

A forum is a like a bulletin board where users can post and share information, stories, jokes, tips etc which can be viewed by all other visitors to the forum.  Other people have the opportunity to reply to this posts and generally have a discussion going around the subjects of interest.

Note that to be able to join in the forum, you will need to be a registered.  The process is very simple and takes less than 5 minutes to complete.  In order to register, click on the link labelled "Open" at the top of SHMA website, this will result in a pull down tab appearing.  At the right hand side you will find a link labeled "Register", by clicking on this you will be taken to the registration page.

All you need to do to register, is provide your name, email address and create a username and password to login.  Upon sending the registration you will be sent an email at the email address provided asking you to confirm your registration by clicking on the link provided.  The registration process is required to ensure that the forums are not hit by spam messages.

To use the forum, you will need to login, to do so click on the "Open" link at the top of the SHMA website and enter the username and password you registered with and then click on "Login".  Once you ahev logged in you will be presented with an extra link on the left labelled "Forum", clicking on this will take you to the SHMA Forum.

The forum has a number of areas defined and people are invited to post messages in any area that they feel is appropriate for their message  If there is a demand for new areas to be created then please email This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it and your request will be considered.

Currently there is no moderation on the messages, so please respect your brothers and sisters and do not post anything that will cause offence to others.  Persistent offenders will be banned from using the Forum.
